Of course, that is completely inappropriate in the UK, but could potentially be fine in the Netherlands. I now always use it as an example whenever I talk to people about the Dutch being rude. And to be very clear!!! Dutch people think you're being rude by not just saying what you think!! It's cultural guys!! You are weird to US!
