“May all beings be at ease,” is an often offered prayer in many Buddhist discourses and chants. It refers to being at ease within our own heart and mind even if the world around us is in chaos. It refers to the importance of wishing this internal ease for our friends, family, those we don’t know, and even those we don’t like. It is a very important teaching about the one thing we actually do have control over in our life, our inner world. ✌️
