Look back through history and you will notice it is filled with long-haired Yogis, Sages, and Mystics from all religions and spiritual teachings. The reason for this is because it is believed the length of one’s hair is in direct correlation to our potential for consciousness. Our hair is an extension of our nervous system. So our body hair is literally what our nervous system looks like outside our body. The US Army actually conducted many tests on Native Americans and found that their psychic and intuitive awareness was extremely sensitive and fine tuned when they had long hair. For this reason they went as far as to prohibit Native American recruits from cutting their hair.
So the more body hair the more expanded potential for our consciousness because of our expanded nervous system.
