Andrew Ramer, Keeper of Gay Tribal Wisdom tells this story:
“I’d like to tell you the story about the gay son of Adam and Eve. It says in Genesis that they had Cain and Abel, and then Seth and lots of other children. And their children spread out across the world, and one of them noticed that he was not quite the same as the others; he noticed that he was different.
So he looks around for someone like himself, but there is no one there...yet. He wanders alone, and in time a nephew is born to a sister and brother of his, who is also different. And eventually these two men find each other. The moment they look in each other’s eyes, they recognize something about each other that has no name yet, yet is perfectly understandable to both of them. It is about the soulful coming together of their bodies; it is about their bodies expressing something together that cannot be expressed any other way.
And so they go off, and they tell their story for the first time by living it. And we have been telling it ever since.” ✌️
