Deepstroke Demo: Edging vs. Tantric Edging
I often get asked what is the difference between Tantric Edging and regular edging. From my perspective there are three key components that need to be present for edging to be elevated to Tantric Edging.
First Key: Intention
Most of the time when two dudes connect to edge, the intention, whether spoken or not, is to either get each other off, or one to get the other off. The intention underlying Tantric Edging is not focused on getting off, it is focused on tuning in and turning on and cultivating higher and higher levels of sexual/creative/life energy.
Second Key: Technique
Traditional edging usually just utilizes one, maybe two (if you’re lucky) different strokes. Our nervous system quickly adapts to the sensations of a repetitive stroke- like jacking. There’s nothing wrong with jacking- it feels awesome. But it also tends to be the stroke that gets guys off pretty quickly, which leaves no time to really cultivate the vibe we talked about in the first key. I developed the Deepstroke Sequence (a series of 12 strokes) in order to open guys minds to the idea that there are many more ways to stroke cock than just jacking. And by constantly changing up the stroke (every 5-10 seconds), the giver is keeping the receiver’s nervous system in a state of attention because of all the changing sensations. This facilitates edging by delaying reaching the point of no return and therefore way more vibe can be cultivated.
Third Key: Contact
In traditional edging the giver works the receiver’s cock until he is about to cum, and then it is suddenly hands off while the receiver is yanked back from the edge.
