The term “Lingam” is a Sanskrit word meaning “shaft or pillar of light.” It represents the power of fertility and creation. There are many Gods throughout history including Pan, Min, Shiva, Priapus, Liber, and Kokopelli that are often depicted with oversized, erect penises. This represents the penis’ ability to ejaculate seed and fertilize life in its many forms. Cultures spanning the entire planet have recognized and honored the creative, regenerative power of cock.
