The Powers of Peter Pan
It is often commented that gay men stay yung much longer than most men. But this youthfulness is only partly due to maintaining physical beauty. It is much more about how we feel in our bodies. Gay men tend to stay playful throughout life. And there are many benefits that come from this “forever yung” mindset. These are the powers of Peter Pan after all; the eternal boy whose innocence and good will are infectious- and redemptive. The eternal boy always saves the day. In fairy tales, this is accomplished by a belief in magic, quick wits, and determination. In real life reality it is achieved by being kind and truthful and empathetic. We, as gay men, save the day by being good guys.💙
