Please keep in mind that I am a human being with an IRL job, friends, pets, and responsibilities outside of making content and especially outside of staring at my DMs waiting to respond immediately. Even if I dedicated every spare second of my free time to replying back to everyone who messages me, I would be spread so thin that my replies would be completely short and void of any substance whatsoever. I will NEVER hire anyone to reply to people for me or ever let anyone “help” me message back, and I highly doubt any of you would want something like that in the first place.
I try to be as engaged as I can and I’m always working on new ideas for stories and scripts and posts as well, so it just feels like— sometimes— I’m having a lot of unrealistic expectations projected upon me and I don’t like the way that feels. I try to treat the people I’m speaking to with measured respect and I always view subs and other creators as real people with outside lives, so I guess I just want those who consume my content to expend those same efforts towards me. I don’t want people believing they are entitled to me, and I certainly don’t want people talking down to me or INSULTING me when I’ve already expressed how unmanageable my DMs are.
If you want a session with me, and we have agreed upon doing so, and I’ve given you permission to send for it, then that is something different entirely. Only then are you owed, and should expect, my time + full undivided attention + effort during the allotted time we have both consented to.
All of this to say, just be reasonable. Be cool.
