Taking a short break from getting more tattooing but the brainstorming and idea process for the upcoming additions is keeping me satisfied for now! Getting tattoos are more than just slapping ink on my skin or to give a certain appearance. Each piece holds meaning, and I love being apart of the creative process. Finding the right artist to bring my vision to reality with their own unique interpretations and style, the prep leading up to the session, placement of the tattoo, having the right tunes to take me somewhere transcendent during the session, and the feeling. Oooh the feeling. Each part of the body registers different sensations. While it isn’t comfortable like getting a massage, it does offer this adrenaline and release! That for me is quite therapeutic. I also challenge my anxiety every time. I channel breathwork during the session, and I take care of my body with proper hydration and food leading up to and even during the session. The healing is another part of the process! That part I don’t much care for 😩🤪 but to see the final art, I love it so much. I love seeing the natural skin, but I do so much love tattooed bodies. I love admiring others tattoo work and I appreciate when people ask about mine because no matter which one you inquire about, a deeper aspect of me will be shared because again every piece is intentional.
I think I’ll work on my left arm next and then move onto the legs. 😍❤️🔥🤘🏽
