Asher, a minor character from my first novel, The Nighttide Of Summerlong. He was originally a genetically engineered feline-human hybrid from an essay that I wrote for English literature class in 1988 called “Out Of Nowhere This World”. Then, he was somewhat tortured. Now, he’s serious, sensitive and brooding.
