We currently have super loud fans and de-humidifiers running on this wall in the kitchen for the next 2 to 6 days. There were cracks in this pipe where the plumber thinks it was from the initial build 9 years ago. The wall/baseboard was miscalculated and was bowing where this pipe was. He thinks someone hammered the board/wall in like crazy to fit it and it cracked. Over time, I guess it finally decided to leak and here we are!
The floor is affected, so we will probably have to rip up the whole kitchen too. It's been a crazy 2 days, I'll tell you that lol. These machines are blasting 24/7, so it's been hard to sleep.
I got the lingerie in from the campaign, by the way! As soon as things calm down here and I can actually make a video and take some nice pics without these crazy loud machines going, I'll be sending the content out to those who donated towards it.
Just wanted to update you all :) Thanks for being patient with messages the last couple of days. I might be sending some more PPV recently to help with this process as homeowner's insurance sounds like they are going to be denying it as they don't cover leaks that could occur longer than 14 days ago, and not sure the builder will pick up the tab. I'm going to fight like hell, though lol. I mean, how the hell can you KNOW it didn't happen in the last 14 days when it's behind a wall with foam insulation? I only realized the baseboard was wet and discolored last week.
