The rain patters against the glass of your apartment, and the humming glow of the neon lights from outside flood in through the blinds, sending streaks of blues and pinks across your floor. Its late, and you are alone. You have your chair brought up close to the television, basking in the welcoming static that washes over everything. Your eyes dart to the clock, and then back to the screen. Its almost time. Please let it happen again. The tv flickers in that familiar tone, and a shape starts to appear. She appears again on the screen, as she has the past few nights. A nameless mystery, with dark hair and dark eyes. You question if this moment is even real. She moves fluidly across the crackle of the pirated airwaves, teasing and pulling at the cords of her outfit. She dances with a smile that knows too much. Your breath catches as her clothing strips off, revealing the soft curved figure that you think about feverishly, each following day. You wish you could touch her, you wish you could know her. And far too quickly, she stops. Her eyes lock with yours, and you wonder if this broadcast is just for you. She waves. And the screen goes black. Its your favorite broadcast, at midnight.
