Since I was a child I’ve had a skin condition called eczema. As I’ve gotten older it was diagnosed as nummular eczema and for the last 4 years I’ve been treated based off of that condition. Just Monday I absolutely BROKE DOWN. The medication i was using was not healing my skin, New flare ups were happening and I’m extremely itchy all day. I called around several dermatologist since my old one is gone and I was not able to get a appointment until next month. Well I could NOT wait and opted for a quick care that had dermatology on staff. Thankful they saw me within the hour. Soon as the doctor came in the room she knew it was psoriasis and prescribed the correct meds. I’ll need to see a derm regularly but I’m saying all this to say that I won’t be hiding my skin anymore.
