It was the top of the ninth inning and the Cleveland Guardians were up to bat. A player hit a line drive foul ball that was speeding towards my section. Seemed like it was going to land several seats over, but It ricocheted off the safety wire and came hurtling towards me. In a split second my soccer training took over and I positioned my shoulder forward to take the impact. The ball pegged my shoulder HARD. The girl behind me grabbed the ball and was kind enough to give it to me! What a sweet gesture! ☺️ My shoulder has a big bump on it and I’m going to ice it a bunch this week, but it was worth it for the memory ⚾️⭐️⭐️⭐️
