It’s hard to reconcile that she’ll never do my hair again. I’ll never be lying in bed with her watching cartoons while she massages my scalp. I’ll never eat her cooking again or listen to her soap opera in the background. I’ll never smell her perfume or hear her laugh. I’ll never go through her jewelry drawer again or do her makeup for her. I’ll never go to the store with her just to keep her company or take a nap with her curled up on the couch.
I miss her.
