Not my usual post but it’s something that’s important to me.
I don’t know about you, but there’s nothing to celebrate this Canada Day/4th of July- I could speak on this topic for a long time

One fun fact that I love:
Indigenous people mapped the continent on foot, and figure out that the land is in the shape of a turtle. Hence why you sometimes hear people call it Turtle Island 🐢
I’ve also heard that some cultures of indigenous history used a turtle shell to map out the seasons/months of the year.
