today was another amazing day in the mountains with my friends. we started our morning with a visit to the pool, and i'm happy to say that i'm getting more confident with my swimming skills. after a relaxing swim, we set out to conquer a mountain with a funny name that translates to "hamster" š
.
the hike was challenging, with steep and slippery sections from the rain. i nearly fell several times because of my slippery sneakers and got pretty dirty! but the view from the top was absolutely worth it, as well as the feeling of accomplishment. the entire hike took about six hours, and my legs are really feeling it now.
after a short rest at the hotel, we decided to explore another mountain. however, we ended up getting a bit lost and wandered into a different village before heading back to the hotel without finding the mountain. despite that, the scenery in this region is stunning, with beautiful views of forests and mountains, so i have no regrets.
before bed, we enjoyed another dip in the pool. swimming in the evening is especially nice, with the contrast between the cool night air and the warm water. as soon as i got back to my room, i fell asleep immediately. we covered almost 30 kilometers today, and iām exhausted.
