while i was gone, i took a short trip to another city with my friend. i didn’t really plan to disappear for so long, but honestly, it felt nice to step away from everything for a bit. now that i’m back, i thought i’d share a little about what we did – it was an interesting few days, and i have quite a few photos to go with it <3
so, day one 🦈
we arrived and checked into an apartment in a beautiful old 19th-century building in the city center. inside, everything was modern and fresh, but the building itself still carried its history – tall spiral staircases, massive doors, and even an entrance to the apartment from the balcony. i had never seen anything like that before, and it was fascinating 🥹
we also decided that we wanted this trip to be as aesthetically pleasing as possible 😅 so, naturally, we started by making coffee and taking a moment to enjoy the quiet before heading out. the city was still decorated for christmas, with bright lights everywhere, making everything feel a little more magical ✨
later, we found a restaurant with a huge aquarium filled with sharks. i also tried burrata for the first time, which i loved – no surprise there, considering how much i love cheese ahahah
if you could live in any type of home, no matter how impractical, what would it be? i think i’d pick an old gothic mansion, even if i’d be terrified at night and really cold 😅
