day two 🦝
one of the best parts of the trip was visiting a raccoon sanctuary, where you could interact with them up close. they were absolutely chaotic – constantly trying to steal treats straight from our hands 😅 at one point, one of them grabbed my entire cup of food, flipped it over, and ate everything in seconds. since they’re still wild animals, i decided not to argue with them over it ahahahah
my friend was a little scared of them and kept her distance, worried she might get bitten 😅 in the end, no one was bitten, but one of them did leave a scratch on my leg that still hasn’t healed. still, it was completely worth it!
later that evening, we picked up a detective-style board game – one of those where you go through evidence, witness statements, and clues to solve a case. i’ve played other escape-room-style games before, but never one in this format, and it turned out to be really fun <3
we also made homemade pizza, but there was one small problem – we didn’t realize the apartment didn’t have an oven 😅 so, i ended up cooking it in a pan, and surprisingly, it turned out really good. crispy and delicious! 🍕
do you trust raccoons, or do you also see them as tiny criminals?🤔
