day three ðŸŽ
this whole trip started because we wanted to go to the theater, but my friend forgot to bring a dress for it, so we spent most of the day shopping
i’ve never enjoyed shopping in person – too many people, too many options, and in winter, the worst part is having to take off all the layers just to try something on 😠i prefer ordering online, even if it doesn’t always fit ahahah
but somehow, i ended up finding something for myself too – a long, tight black dress, exactly what i had been wanting for a while <3
in the evening, we went to see Esmeralda. it was interesting, but i realized that ballet isn’t really for me 😅 i kept thinking about how much effort and training the dancers had put in, rather than actually enjoying the performance ahahah. the best part for me was the music – i love deep, emotional instrumentals, and the live orchestra was incredible! some of the staging and theatrical elements were also really creative, and those parts stood out the most to me <3
even when something isn’t exactly my taste, i still love the experience of going to the theater. it always feels like an event, something special 🥹
hmmm have you ever watched something in a theater that completely changed your opinion on it? or maybe you are not a fan of such things?
