

Do you like my life tip posts? It might sound like it has nothing to do with me, but trust me, it does, because i live by those principles now. Those tips aren’t just to avoid burn out, but also to live a more fulfilling life. I think setting boundaries is the hardest tip of all, so things are easier from here. My second tip is: Set timers through the day. I now work in blocks of 45 minutes to an hour, followed by breaks. I also set timers to do house chores. For my fellow ADHDers, you will love this. This hack changed my life. If I have to do a house chore, like laundry, vacuuming, dishes… I will set a timer for 15 minutes, and literally try to race the clock. How much of my laundry can I get folded in 15 minutes, or how much of the dishes can I get washed? I’m on a timer so i dont stop every 2 minutes to check my phone. This is much more effective on a daily basis than looking at the entire house and think « shit ill need an entire day to do this. »
