There are things in life you can control, and others you can’t. If you take control of the ones you can, you will stop focussing on what you can’t control. How do you do that? Discipline. Discipline is the best thing for your mental health, because it’s all about showing up for yourself. You control your daily rituals and your exercise routine. How good does it feel when you don’t feel like doing something that’s good for your mental health but do it anyway? You can pat yourself on the back cause you got that thing done today. Alternatively, if you always choose to be lazy, you let yourself down every single day, and you feel like you have no control over your own life and goals.
