The tickets were like $30 and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to see Cloud Cult in person for the first time ever! I had the biggest fangirl moment walking up to the theatre due to the fact that Craig (the lead singer) was just hanging out chatting with people. Naturally I was too big of a chicken to say hello. To top it all off, at one point during the show I was already starting to get emotional over what was probably one of the more cheery songs, Shannon (the violinist) happened to look over at me and my bitch ass just started crying the second I made eye contact with her. They made it so General Admission tickets allowed you to pick where you wanted to sit or stand which meant I was able to hang over the front row fence the entire time.
Being able to see them play the songs I've listened to and wept over for years was a real gift.
P.S this is also why I couldn't upload the set for today. I'm really sorry for missing a day. I promise I'll post it on Monday!
