When I was in high school and training my ass off I was sleeping 10 hrs a night! Now a days I shoot for 8, plus or minus 30 mins. I find a sleep mask really helps - especially in the Summer. Some L-Theanine taken before bed is great - and if I’m feeling stressed or had a hard workout some Ashwaganda will mellow me into a deep slumber. If you’re not getting your zzzzzz’s you shouldn’t be puaging your body through tough workouts - it really is that simple.
