It all started with one rubber bracelet from my hometown coffee company…which, as soon as i put on my arm, i realized could only be removed with my teeth. Realizing breaking it was too big a risk, i just left it there. Anyone else ever get told be an adult that if you hit $1 it would multiply? This was basically the same idea. That one bracelet kept living its best life, soon accompanied by around 30 others. These included hair tires, rubber bracelets from various random places (1 found on the ground at Mysteryland 2014), and even hospital bracelets!! At some point in my later twenties, my ex gave me a talking to. Explained how not safe that was to my general health and essentially made me convinced (for a moment) that my bracelets would make my other arm fall off 🤦♀️🤦♀️ Today, i miss my bracelets. They were part of my story. They made me me. 😊
