Hi everyone! Some of you may or may not be aware of this, but for the past few days I have been bedridden due to a severe hives breakout due to an allergic reaction to something. At first it presented itself like bug bites, but by Thursday night my body was completely covered in red swollen hives that kept spreading. This had never happened to me before, so I tried to tough it out and stayed up all night long on Thursday in misery hoping it would get better on its own. It didn’t. I missed stream with no warning because I was suffering a lot and wasn’t able to focus on anything else. I was hardly able to move and was in extreme discomfort and burning pain all over my body. By the morning, I knew I couldn’t put it off any longer and decided to head to urgent care. However, I was in such a bad condition that I couldn’t walk more than 10 steps without blacking out. I passed out multiple times on my bathroom floor and was struggling to stay conscious. Luckily I was able to be driven to urgent care where they immediately gave me 2 shots and 3 medications to start on. These medications make me extremely disoriented and drowsy, so I haven’t not been able to drive or really be on my social media at all the last few days. I’ve basically been repeating the same cycle of sleeping, icing my body, taking medications, and repeat. It has been a quite traumatic experience for me. Those who have dealt with this before I’m sure you understand. This was my first time dealing with something like this. I’m still not sure what cause this terrible reaction in the first place. Today I am finally doing better! I am still recovering, thank you for being patient with me❤️
