Hey guys I had a major scare today and had to take my baby girl Journey to the emergency vet! She basically collapsed in my lap this morning and said mommy I don't feel good. Since I got home from vacation she hasn't seemed to eat or drink much and was lethargic, she seemed to get better tho so I refrained from making her a vet appointment which wouldn't have mattered anyway cause I wasn't going to wait to get her checked out! So got bloöd work, urine test and a test for pancreatitis, which all came back pretty good with nothing major to be concerned about. They found out she had some mouth lesions and bad teeth that have been causing her a lot of pain and making her unable to eat which resulted in her getting sick and dehydrated. Thankfully it was nothing worse but cost me like $546 for everything which was honestly less that I thought it would be but I'll still have to pay at least a few hundred more to get her dental work done so it's very possible I may be canceling my birthday trip or anything I had planned this month! Just when things were starting to look up again but I honestly don't care what I have to do or cancel or spend because this is my baby and I will make sure she is taken care of! She is 12 now so she's starting to get old and I am grateful it's just her teeth and nothing worse! The emergency vet was super nice and gave us several treatment options too. If anyone wants to help offset these costs please consider subbing, donating, buying sets, customs, panties etc. I'm doing my best to hustle even tho I still have new and long term subs leaving and not yet returning so this month still isn't looking good too for me despite everything I've done and am doing. Not one person chose to sub after giving away 10 free trials (sad face)! So I'm really just doing anything I can to stay afloat and not have to break into my savings which I probably will for her dental bill. Anyways I'm exhausted and in pain from sitting in the car all day since they only did curbside service, so I'm gonna try to relax and just keep an eye on my baby girl tonight!
