Added 2021-12-21 18:09:36 +0000 UTCGood afternoon! I try to keep this page a happy/upbeat place, so I tend to avoid getting too transparent or personal. However, I currently owe things to people and haven't been able to post, so I wanted to share the reason why, but that reason isn't rainbows and butterflies. If you are not interested, please feel free to skip this post. I understand. One reason is OF messed up on me for a few days, but it isn't the main reason. Today is my grandma's birthday. She's nearing 90 and hasn't been doing too well. She is my favorite person in the universe and it's well known in my family that I'm hers (I can only just now admit that without feeling some sort of guilt). The week of December 10th, my dad told me she was rapidly declining and if I wanted her to remember me at all, I needed to come now. It had been a few years since I last visited where I'm from, so I packed up a suitcase, loaded both pets into my car and came for what I thought would be a week long visit. Unfortunately, she was hospitalized and I didn't want my last memory of her to be in a hospital. Call me selfish. She got to come home yesterday and I got to see her again today for the first time in almost a week. I've visited with her every day shes been home, since I've been here, and she's maybe remembered me a total of 20 minutes. Those 20 minutes are worth more to me than anything else in this world, so I can't say I'm too sorry about my absence. I'm pretty sure that the hardest thing I will EVER have to do, is mourn someone that is still alive. Especially this someone. Thank you those that have tipped, unlocked, and purchased things. My absence doesn't come without financial repercussions, so your continued help and support is what allows me this time to say goodbye to her. I've thought about offering more things or even doing a campaign to help get me through this time, but it doesn't feel right to do so. So, it is what it is. I'll be back to posting as usual asap. I'll also be getting those photos sent out here in the next few. Thank you for being patient with me. -S
