I had big glass doors which looked out at the farm. It was amazing but had a slight downside which we didn’t foresee. I was backpacking around Europe when I got a message from my mum – “So this happened”. I opened the message to see photos of my glass door completely smashed and my room trashed and covered in what I was hoping was mud, but later found out was....cow shi.t. I called mum – “What the hell happened?”. It turned out our bull had got into the house paddock, had seen his reflection in my glass doors and, needing to protect his new found territory had charged. He had gone straight through the doors and found himself in my bedroom. Freaked out he had then run around, shi.tting everywhere and then made his way out. So there was poor mum scraping cow po.o off my carpet while I continued backpacking around Europe, entertaining all my fellow travels with the photos of the mess.
