I was excited knowing she was a verified over-pumper! I had walked away but she hopped out calling me by my name. I edit that out of the video for privacy but that's where you see her go from brake pedal to saying "I was about to go for the gas". She wanted to pump it but was scared to flood it. Interesting to see that a girl who had pumped too much was now not pumping at all. All I said to her was, "It's an old truck. You're not gonna hurt anything. Just get it started and keep it running." I walked away again. Everything from this point on is all her. No coaching. From where I was standing I could tell she was now hitting the gas because of the sound of the engine. The truck isn't rigged so if she doesn't give it gas it will just dry crank. When it starts to sputter I know gas is being shot into the carb. Because she is an experienced pumper and has flooded it before, her pumping style is very deliberate. You can really tell she's thinking about each and every pump she gives it. I love that!
