Read on... **It was a dark and stormy night...** Ok no it wasn't but this girl showed up with her Uncle so I wasn't about to do anything inappropriate. Or was I? I had to replace at least 3 starters in the Scamp. If you want to make PP videos you better learn how to replace starters! They're on top of the Slant 6 engine, so I could swap one out in 10 or 15 mins. Unfortunately on this day, I didn't have one ready when it decided to crap out. Watch her face when the bendix got stuck and I had to quickly disconnect the battery! This girl is a furious natural pumper. Even when the starter fails and makes no more than a *click* sound she's still going hard on the gas. I swear it was all her. Her Uncle standing there the whole time never says a word. Now I know that the starter is toast but I don't want this to end because she's a rare specimen. A girl her age who is hot AND goes crazy on the gas? I'm going to keep the cameras going as long as I can. I wished I could feel what the pedal was feeling so I go under the hood and put my fingers on the throttle linkage. The force of her foot was shockingly strong and you can hear the return spring snapping back/forth with her full throttle stomps. I also wish I could have swapped the starter and let her continue to start it but with her Uncle there - at some point he was going to start thinking I was a creep. We all knew the car was going nowhere... Who taught her to pump...was it her Uncle? Was she a natural? I don't know, I never asked. I think all the fluid in my brain went elsewhere at the sight of what she was doing. Good news is natural pumpers her age are rare but do exist. I capture one on video from time to time.
