She's an adorable petite blonde country girl and this really is her 1968 Ford pickup. She drives it every day and that male voice you hear in the video is Daddy. He has quite the collection of old cars. She grew up around old cars and is careful not to over-pump in front of daddy. In fact, at about :40 into the video you can hear him yell at her, "don't give it any gas!" after she keeps pumping it. Read on to learn more about that...This is what *really* does it for me. **Behind The Camera** It's always tough convincing women to let me make a video especially when it's really their car. It's even worse when husband/boyfriend/daddy is around and they usually are. I know I'd be there if some guy wanted to video my girl. But it's actually fine because I'm not coaching her saying things like "now pump it more" or "take your shoes off to pump it". I'm just documenting what is happening. In this video, her daddy is actually trying to adjust the idle for her and I'm just capturing the action. **Here is the mind blower** I'm talking to daddy because he has a collection of awesome cars that NO one gets to touch, not even his lovely daughter. He tells me the story of giving her this 68' Ford a few years ago. I'll try to put this in his words as best as I can remember: *"She wanted a truck so I found this one for her but she's always breaking down and calling me to come rescue her. Most of the time the only problem is she panics and floods it. I'm always telling her to stop pumping the gas so f'ing much..."* Keep that in mind when you watch this and my other videos. Just because she's not going crazy on the gas right now doesn't mean it hasn't happened before and might happen again...I sure would have loved to get it on video!
