Happy November lovlies, I've started making a tiny bit of progress on my studio so I thought I would give yall an upate. If you would like to know the details, keep reading! **This will be a long post!!**
I'll start at the beginning and label this so if you're interested in updates you can just check the label since that's a new thing now.
For those who don't know I've recently moved and finally got everything out of the storage units and old place that's all now here in the new one. Just prior to the move, my studio, which will be where I do all of my shoots and where I was planning on moving my computer to be able to stream again as well as create cosplays and craft, had completely flooded. The bathroom has been completely torn apart and is currently non functional. The studio floor and walls were damaged, the floors have been removed but because we had limited space, some of our stuff from storage was put into the studio until it was completely full of boxes and such. We found the cause of the flood and have been able to make the fixes needed to prevent any further flooding but there is still a lot of work to be done. I'm adding a hidden code word to see who actually reads all this chaos which is, flood. Message me the code word for a surprise. There has been a bunch of other costly things that have had to be fixed inside the actual house we were not anticipating and I'm only just now able to have some time to start getting the stuff moved from the studio in hopes to make it functional soon. I was hoping to get it done by the end of the year but I did not anticipate the several trips out of town I've had to take and I'll be having a visitor stay with me soon for an undetermined amount of time, possibly months but probably less. So all of that has left me with less time. My whole world is still in boxes I've barely unpacked anything that's inside the house beside the kitchen stuff and clothes/normal daily items and my computer of course. That all takes so much time and I've been trying my best to spend my time getting photos ready to send out for yall. I hope you enjoyed all the Velma and the few Ghostface pics I was able to send, if you liked Ghostface, I do plan to do a full on shoot, I was thinking of putting my fog machine and colored lights to good use for it too so it should be a lot of fun. I'd like to shoot that and Chucky at the same time as I'll likely use the same background and props. I cannot wait to start my Killer Queen series correctly instead of some quick shots but it'll be worth the wait!
Since I've been back from Austin I've been feeling pretty crappy, like I'm getting sick but hoping that's not the case. I have worked a couple days in the last week getting things in order out in the studio mess. There is a spare unfinished room outside of the studio that I'm going to try and move as much stuff that's inside the studio into. We've completely sealed as much of the holes and cracks as possible so hopefully no rain will get in and damage even more stuff. I've so far been able to move all of the holiday decorations into the small closet in that room along with some random smaller boxes that fit on the shelves. We just finished sealing the actual room and now I can start moving stuff into the room, it does already have stuff in it so I know I won't be able to get everything out of the studio but I'm hoping to be able to put as much as possible and then we can start to put in a floor and then just move what's left around from one side to the other while doing the floor. I'm adding another code word in here which is, path. Message me the code word for a surprise. I've made a small dent, a tiny path through the center of the studio big enough to squeeze through which was desperately needed because trying to get around workout equipment that doesn't budge and injures you while carrying heavy boxes is not fun.
What happens now?
As stated above, I'll be moving as much as possible out of the studio so we can put a floor in and repair the walls and baseboards not even mentioning the bathroom right now. I have not chosen a floor yet, I just know that since my foot injury which caused permanent nerve damage in my foot, I cannot have the current uneven concrete floors, nor can I have hardwood. So I have to find something such as laminate that I can put some cushioning underneath in order to be able to stand on somewhat comfortably for shoots. And that's after leveling out the floors properly. I'm adding a code word here, future. Message me for a surprise. The people who built this room took many shortcuts and we're paying for it now but at least when it's redone it will be correct. I'm also going to need to add an extra separate outlet to the breaker box for my computer because if you seen where some of these outlets are placed you wouldn't trust them either lol. And since I'll be running an ac unit and space heater I'd like to not have them on the same breaker or whatever. I'm too tired to make perfect sense but yall get the drift.
If you want to help get the studio running, the sooner it's functional the sooner I can do new shoots, you're welcome to do so in many forms. You can message me for options but generally speaking they are by tips and purchasing content, I'd like to arrange some thank you content for anyone who is interested in helping out which we can discuss via dm. Every little bit that I'm making is going directly to pay to fix the studio or buy me food, or pay my internet and cell phone bill to keep this going for yall. Luckily I have some outfits and cosplays stocked up to shoot so I don't have to worry about that and I can continue to put everything into getting the studio running. It's going to take a while esp because after every time I get out there and move stuff it takes me several days for my back to recover. Not to mention having to sift through the boxes to figure out what should go in the unfinished room and what needs to come in the house. So be patient with me I'm doing my best as fast as I can.
I can't wait to make this dream a reality and do more content for yall!! If you've read this far I am shocked and I thank you and love you and appreciate you.
