Added 2023-05-01 22:50:53 +0000 UTCIt hit me that my 40’s are right around the corner and instead of it scaring the shit out me..I am reflecting on everything that has gotten me to this point. I have to say its pretty damn beautiful and I feel deeply grateful. Granted this is not the fairy-tale I imagined for myself, but this life i have build for my daughter and I , well…it’s a fairy-tale of its own kind. Filled with magnanimous love, happiness, peace and deep serenity. Life can be ugly and even soul crushing at times BUT It’s also filled with this immense happiness that fills your heart with SO MUCH joy that you couldn’t possibly contain a fraction more…but then you do. Over and over again. My 30’s have been filled with more “I’m glad I did’ than “I wish I had” moments and that’s more than enough for me. I learned to accept myself at every age and stage and that it’s okay to fail, it’s okay to cut people out, and it’s okay to find yourself again…as many times you need to. Remember the next time you are feeling like you aren’t enough, or your life should be different…you’re exactly where you are supposed to be at that moment. So be proud, be free and open yourself to the world fearlessly and unapologetically. YOU ARE formidable.
