Back then I was having trouble finding an opponent for mma so I agreed the bout. Soon after accepting, I got the offer to fight for the King of the Cage Strawweight Title.
I did not want to pull out of the kickboxing fight because I was already committed, sold a ton of tickets etc..
2 weeks after winning the KOTC title, I went to NYC fought and lost to a tough decision against a game opponent.
I had so much fun in that fight plus my friends and family travelled to be in attendanceā¦ that whole experience was just the icing on the cake š
