

the rebel by albert camus my new favorite camus! and that’s saying a lot because i already loved the stranger and the myth of sisyphus. this one dives deep into absurdism and how it’s philosophies can be applied to rebellion. this was written around the time of the french revolution so revolts and rebellions (different but similar) were heavy on camus’ mind. i’ve definitely been integrating a lot of this thinking since putting it down. 8/10
