Added 2023-03-01 01:31:00 +0000 UTCbehind the beautiful forevers katherine boo. i’ve read this one a few times and reread it in bali because the themes of muslim and hindu relations, poverty, and the trash problem in parts of asia were all relevant aspects of life there. The first time i read this i didn’t realize it was nonfiction until i got to the authors note in the end of the book. every reread i never want to believe these things really happened/happen. 10/10 couldn’t recommend this one more.
