Added 2023-05-05 00:37:40 +0000 UTCwell other than the love interests name being ethan this was a fairly enjoyable read. at least i think it helped desensitize me to the name tho. never expected this duo writing a book together but excited it exists. girl runs away from her past and to nashville to try and make it in music. Dolly wrote an album for the book and all the songs written in the book by the mc, the love interest, and the Dolly Parton parallel are on the album and most of them are bops. spoiler alert but my favorite part was when the mc shoved the heel of a stiletto into a bad guy’s eye. So girl boss. 7/10 would be 6/10 but since its Dolly it gets an extra point (this came with a poster and i hung it up over my bed so Dolly can watch me sleep and guard my dreams)
