Added 2023-05-26 00:36:07 +0000 UTCthe stranger in the life boat mitch albom i usually enjoy mitch albom books. they usually tug on my heartstrings just right, but this one sadly wasn’t hitting. felt like he was trying too hard to write life of pie or fight club or something else that just isn’t him. i also hate the trope of “cop plays by his own rules” because we all know how that goes irl. i hope this one’s just a dud and it’s not me that’s outgrown him because these books are usually a guilty pleasure of mine. 4/10. sorry mitch luv u
