Added 2023-06-06 13:54:01 +0000 UTCconversations with friends sally rooney this one’s pretty polarizing, so i feel like i should have a strong opinion, but i honestly don’t. i found it mid. i will say, though, that i really appreciate the endometriosis representation. i knew the mc had endo the moment she started talking about her pain, because it sounded exactly like my pain. the only time i’ve heard others with endo talk about their pain is on reddit so it was very surreal to read something so relatable. there’s something cathartic about reading someone describe the exact pain you’re currently feeling. 6.5/10
