Added 2023-06-08 13:57:12 +0000 UTCthe husbands secret liane moriarty the women in my family are always recommending me these books about lying, cheating, murdering men. i don’t really enjoy them. the men in my family are such good guys that it must be easy for their wives to read about these events because they feel so far removed from them. i find them too relatable, so i get too emotional. i had no issues with the writing though; i could potentially read something from this author again, but she does seem awfully obsessed with weight. the ethical nuance the story brings up will have me pondering for a long time 7/10
