Added 2023-06-15 17:21:05 +0000 UTCthe housemaid freida mcfadden another one from my family’s book club (composed of my aunt, mom, grandma, and sister lol) I didn’t love her writing; i thought it was really bland and non descriptive. she would be like “and then we kissed. then we had sex” but luckily the plot made up for it a lil bit. the ‘twists’ are kinda predictable but they’re entertaining enough that i’ll let it slide. a page turner, if you will. reminds me a lil of cohos verity. 6/10
