Added 2022-03-29 07:58:22 +0000 UTCKinda good news 😊 Lately, I had a hard time keeping up with everything and after a lot of thinking, I decided that I will use the second term of my diploma deadline. Normally, I would have to have my diploma ready by next week(the spring term), which is not possible for me in the current state. The second term(summer term) will give me 3 more months of time to complete it and keep my sanity in check. It may sound silly for someone, but for a perfectionist student, it was important for me to have everything always organised and m3et all deadlines, have good grades, and I was also afraid that my parents will be dissapointed that I will use the second term, and I was embarassed because I considered it something that only bad students do, but to my surprise, everyone was really supportive about it, and actually 10 more people from my class will do the same(even the good students haha). What does it really mean overall? I won't have any summer holiday since I will have to work on my diploma, and a bit of embarassment that I postponed something so important, BUT ALSO I already feel so much better, energised, and relieved that I have more time for my research and everything. Tbh I couldn't be happier right now :) *hugs to everyone who read it till the end haha*
