📖 Story time: @lunapenelope and I met 7 months ago as two very different people. We both were divorced, I had no intention of returning to the swinger lifestyle (just wanted to find a loving and trustworthy partner), and she was very vanilla with no intention of ever doing anything that you see now on our pages. The app had pre-built questions you can select to answer on your profile. One of them I chose to answer was, "what is your typical Sunday?" I was new to the app and couldn't think of anything clever at the moment so I googled a place holder and chose something funny. The funny attention grabbing answer I chose to my "typical Sunday" was "porn and pancakes, all homemade". I thought it was pretty funny and it fit my personality (I love porn and I love making pancakes). Soon after editing my profile to that answer I was logged out of the app and couldn't get back in. Ok cool, just some technical difficulties at the moment and I'll be logged back in, sealing the deal on my potential future partners in no time. After I couldn't get back in with multiple attempts, I started to panic. Did I get banned or reported due to my stolen "inappropriate" profile answer? I immediately thought of all the matches I made and chatted with, that were now "missed connections". I wasn't ready to give up that easy and go back to shitty Bumble and Tinder. By the grace of god I was finally able to log back in and immediately changed my "typical Sunday" answer to "homemade blueberry pancakes on the cast iron skillet and puppies". It was more personal, genuine, and dating app friendly. Little did I know, THAT was the exact answer Luna was looking for to spark her interest and reach out to me. Till this day she says if I would have kept my answer as "porn and pancakes" she would've skipped over my profile (I still don’t believe her, but she says she was dead ass serious 😂).
