I wouldn't have thought that not being able to hear from one ear would have affected my mental health much, but the fact that I both can't hear and will never have silence again... it's maddening. I lost a lot of my artistic muse a long time ago... I promise that I'm doing ok, I just haven't been able to get back in the same groove.
