

***MENTAL HEALTH MONDAY*** If you’re new here I do mental health care in the DMs here mostly cause it’s important to know you’re in control, and have the power to take control of your life and some of us just need a push. Some of us just need someone to listen and I’m here… If you don’t care just keep scrolling, today I’m talking about the effects of procrastination. When you’re not acting on being your best self and making the best decisions the consequences come in various ways, one is anxiety. You yourself can be the very root of your problems, if you keep telling yourself you’ll do this thing later, avoiding your responsibilities and not making the choices you know you should be, CREATES feelings of guilt and shame inside yourself, you sit there hating yourself for not being better when YOU HAVE THE CHOICE YOU JUST KEEP CHOOSING NOT TO. Say for instance that business you’re not investing your time and money into properly and it’s slowly slipping, that relationship you know you could put more into and be a better person to somebody but we are too blinded by our own selfish needs to care for someone else, that toxic family member you have to see every holiday and it makes you in easy, but you don’t speak on it, the way you keep avoiding the gym and carrying on with gut wrenching eating habits, the way you lost your temper at your littles when they just wanted that extra attention and you were giving it to tik tok, we all have the decision to be better. Those small choices that we turn down, create feelings of GUILT AND SHAME within ourselves and those are HEAVY to carry around. It’s a burden but you literally created it yourself by what? By not listening to your inner self and doing those things you know you’re supposed to, stop putting off the housework that’s causing you to stay in bed and cry, why go to that job that you wake up and think of excuses to get out of everyday, let go of that toxic person you know doesn’t love you, you beat yourself up when you have the power to get up and take control of these things. Start with small changes, new thought process practices, new routines and consistency is a bitch but it’s the only thing that will EVER GET YOU ANYWHERE! Start with taking care of yourself and making those easy decisions on bettering your life. -Moon Momma 🌙🖤
