The Mournful Dragon Slayer
Want to see the topless shots?!? Head to @molly_beth_model
The warrior once traveled the world, slaying all dragons she came across. It was considered a noble profession, and she was very good at it. For years, she had protected the innocent, and sent the overgrown tyrants to their doom.
In the final years though, she had had an epiphany: the dragons never came to “civilized” lands. She came to theirs. They never took the fatal blow, though she knew they had had the opportunity to kill her many times. In fact, despite their huge size, the only thing terrifying about them was their personality.
She killed the last of them before her heart had a chance to turn. It was during the fatal stroke that empathy finally won over hate. She did everything in her power to save the final beast, but it was too late. Their light and magik was gone from the world, and she was the cause.
Now, she walks the world setting right what once went wrong. She LISTENS to the people, and considers her choices before she acts.
She consults the skull before she acts. The spirit of her final draconic foe now acts as her constant reminder. All life is precious. And she will defend it!

I cannot find words for how much the flow of creativity meant to me for this shoot. Every time I shoot, I get to "be" a character. The time connection and experience with The Coz to make her and her story came to life brought me immense joy.
Massive thanks as well to my buddy David who loaned me the sash and gave me (!) the sword. It actually was made with the dull side facing the warrior, and the story of that warrior -- remorseful and committed to only slaying themselves should they pull it again -- inspired the trajectory of this character.
