The Interview: Part 1 “Artig, I’m going to need you to clear any plans that you may have for Saturday evening.” I looked at my Owner with curious eyes. We were planning our week together and Saturdays usually are free for me to do whatever I have in mind. It was hard not to be nosy but curiosity stirred inside of me and I couldn’t help but ask what we would be doing. I bit my lip, noticing my Master’s stare. I was sure he was going to avoid my question and keep the plans to himself but instead he smiled. “You are going to have an interview, and if you succeed, you will have a new job.” My eyebrows drew together. Was it some sort of roleplay game? But with who? I tried to ask more questions but the stern look my Owner gave me meant that I’d had enough information. But it was killing me a bit inside to not know what was going on! How was I going to be able to prepare? What if I failed this interview because I didn’t have enough time to get myself together? I began to prod my Owner again until he finally lost his temper and pulled me over his lap to punish me. Master spanked me until I wouldn’t dare to ask any more questions, but as the days passed by after that, I couldn’t help but get more curious! Two days before my interview my Owner texted me while I was at work. “This is Mr. V’s number. Contact him and do everything to get the job. Do not blame me if anything goes wrong.” I could almost see his light scowl in my mind. This was a lecture I had received before. I had a tendency to get very nervous and become uncertain about everything, which can sometimes lead me to become very clumsy. Who was Mr. V? The idea of this mystery man made me extremely excited but also very nervous.
