I was embedded into a military unit for 5 years. I worked on the Strykers. 3 years in I became a FSR. This was one of the prestigious roles they had. Basically the only one that knew more about a Stryker was the guys that designed it. I went to Iraq twice as well. 6 days in I was hit by a mortar. I had Ptsd for years. Loud noises and stuff would scare me. Pretty much done now thank goodness. My second longest job was as a radiation worker. I went to work for an energy contractor cleaning up the Hanford area. I was again a mechanic bit this time I worked in radiation zones. All those jobs I have had except I was never a surf instructor. Not yet anyways. Maybe one day.
