There are definitely pros and cons to each so I will share my personal opinion. Starting with the kindle, the pros of a kindle are that it is lightweight and easy to travel with, new books are always available, and after the initial cost of the kindle the actual books in the store are cheaper than hard copies. There are even free book options as well. The cons include that it does need to be charged, depending on the version you have they are not all able to be read in sunlight, and the initial cost is higher than the average book. With that being said a lot of these pros and cons can be transferred into the hardcopies of books. However, personally at the end of the day I have always enjoyed the hardcopy over kindles because I enjoy the physical touch of a book: being able to turn the page, see the cover, and feel how much you have read or left to read. Also kindles take away the small joys that I find in going to the bookstore or adding to my own personal library. There is just something about finishing a book and adding it to the collection on my bookshelf that never gets old.
